| 7/27/07 We did good! BPS came back from New York as a Top 10 Finalist in the 72 Hour Shootout! Hooray for us! We also received two nominations for Most Original Film and Best Story from the Shootout contest. For the official results, click here. As part of the Shootout contest, we're also eligible for the People's Choice Award, and details on how you can participate will be announced soon. Please vote for us! Winner gets to screen on AZN Television! We'd love that! As a finalist, BPS will now screen at the 2007 Boulder Asian Film Festival and the 2008 San Francisco Asian American Film Festival! Yay! 7/20/07 Wish us luck! BPS is one of 64 films competing in this year's 72 Hour Shootout. "The Shootout is a nationwide competition where filmmaking teams have 72 hours to write, shoot, edit and produce short digital films up to five minutes on a common theme. The intention of this competition is to create opportunities for Asian Americans to demonstrate their talent, gain exposure in the entertainment industry and to impact the visibility of Asian American stories and characters in film and television. At least one key production member and a lead actor from each team must be of Asian descent." Results are being announced this Sunday! Wish us luck! |
